The chief concentration of Vidatak’s communication solution is the support of communication-vulnerable patient, (those patients unable to establish or maintain effective communication without assistance), and are reliant on non-verbal contact with clinical support teams responsible for their care. Vidatak firmly believe it is the patient’s absolute right to communicate; so they provide a research based product that allows the patient to communicate effectively when unable to speak or write legibly.  Vidatak are also working closely with the Joint Commission and the State of California Department of Public Health to raise the standard of care with respect to patient communication.
Current Customers
Vidatak, LLC provides communications boards, designed by research from UCLA Medical Center, to over 1,000 hospital and VA’s throughout the United States to assist communication-vulnerable patients to establish and maintain communication with care givers and family members. It is also recommended for use with non English speaking patients as means for translation needs, as the EZ Board now comes in a bilingual format in 17 different languages. 365 Healthcare is keen to bring this product to the UK market easing patient consultation whether it be driven by a language barrier or an inability to speak.
